Unicare Pharmacy is the retail pharmacy
trading name for Century Pharmaceutical Ltd. Existing since 2004, we specialise
in retail pharmacy offering a wide range of pharmaceutical services, in line with
the new pharmacy contract. Our services range from dispensing prescriptions and
giving professional advice to specialised services such as blood pressure monitoring,
and alternative therapies. OUR VISIONCurrently operating from two
retail outlets, Unicare Pharmacy has a vision to expand both the number of pharmacies
and the range of services provided. However, these services will be determined
by the need of the community and our outlets will be individual and tailored to
our local communities. OUR MISSIONWe at Unicare Pharmacy believe
that provision of health goes beyond dispensing prescriptions. A good pharmaceutical
service should incorporate provision of information and education, facilitating
the community awareness and reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
We also believe that a good pharmaceutical service should focus on certain key
determinants of health and we recognise the impact of social and environmental
factors on health. Hence at our branches we intend to offer blood pressure monitoring,
anticoagulation testing, weight management programmes and improved nutrition schemes
in the very near future. We believe that these services will enable our community
to move towards becoming a more health conscious one. |
